DMV Allergy & Asthma Center has officially expanded its reach by partnering with Florida Allergy & Asthma Associates, led by Dr. Steven Louie. The merger brings high-quality allergy and asthma care to Palm Beach County, with new offices in Atlantis and Boynton Beach.
Patients in Atlantis, Lake Worth, Lantana, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, West Palm Beach, Wellington, and Boca Raton can now access expert care locally from Dr. Louie, Deema Hakkani, NP, and Katelyn Widgerson, PA, supported by DMV Allergy’s trusted network of specialists.
Dr. Henry Fishman of DMV Allergy & Asthma Center was recently featured on 7 News to talk about the surge in ragweed allergies as fall approaches. He explained how ragweed pollen can lead to symptoms such as itchy eyes, sneezing, sinus infections, and even asthma flare-ups. Dr. Fishman shared some practical tips to limit exposure, like showering after spending time outdoors and keeping windows shut.
He also emphasized the value of allergy testing, advanced treatments like cluster therapy for allergy shots, and even pointed out surprising food-related connections to ragweed allergies.

I can’t say enough good things about the DMV Allergy & Asthma Center! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by the amazing front desk team. Erica and Star are always warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. They make check in so smooth and go above and beyond to help with scheduling, insurance questions, and making sure every visit starts off on the right note. You can really tell they care about every patient who walks through the door. The nursing team Catherine, Karina, and Amna (forgive me if i’m spelling your name wrong) are equally wonderful! They’re kind, patient, and so knowledgeable. Whether it’s doing allergy testing, giving injections, or just checking in to see how you’re feeling, they always take their time and make you feel comfortable and cared for. They’re truly the heartbeat of the office, and their positive energy makes every visit so much easier. And of course, Dr. Fishman is an incredible doctor. He listens carefully, explains everything clearly, and never rushes through appointments. You can tell he genuinely wants the best for his patients.
